History
In 1935 the steelpan pioneers made a transition from bambo to metal.The Tamboo Band led By Lord Humbugger,discarded their lenghts of bamboo and took to the streets a complement
of metal containers that included garbage bins and covers,biscuit drums,bottles.chamber pots
and metal spoons.Norman Darway is believed to be the most informed elders on the origin and the history of the Steel Band/pan. Norman Darway spends much of his time researching and
contributing about the bitrth and the evolution of the SteelBand/Pan.Winston "Simon and Addawell changed the traditional style of the steel pan to a modern style.With more than four
decades of playing ,composing and performing Prince Bernard is considered a master of the steel pan.
