Prince Bernard was Born in Roxborough ,Tobago.This island is seperated from Trinidad by the Caribbean Sea. At the age of 5 he started playing the hamonica in church,His mother died when he was only 10 years
old leaving him no choice to live with his father in Trinidad which was right across the Carribean Sea. As he
grew older he really love the sound of music so much that he decided to pursue music as a career.Prince
Bernard learned to play the steel drum as well as other percussion instrument and by the time he was 21
years of age he was playing with the number one band on the island.The passion from his music inspired him to start his own band.Prince bernard took part in many Multi-Curltral activities such as the National Steel Drum Panarama Festival,The Music Steel Drum Festival,The Carnival Festival Parade and the Queen Park
Park Savana in Trinidad that featured singing and folk dancing. It was then that he met Mr. Patrick Arnold
and began playing with his band Our Boys.Prince Bernard traveled the United States and after touring in California he decided to stop in San Fransico .Prince Bernard moved to Southern California and started his company Sweet Caribbian Music Entertainment.Four decades later the Los Angeles based Trinadad & Tobago steel drum artist Prince Bernard continues to entertain and inspire fans around the world.
